How InvoiceDrift handles document data
Standard document parsing and variance calculations begin in your browser. Uploaded files and their full text are not sent to the optional advanced description-matching service.
Standard comparison
InvoiceDrift reads the invoice and comparison document in the browser, identifies usable line items, matches strong candidates and calculates quantity and unit-price differences locally.
Optional advanced matching
When descriptions remain uncertain, advanced matching receives only a limited set of sanitised line descriptions. The sanitisation process removes common contact details, business identifiers, document references, bank details, addresses, currency values and numbers. It does not send uploaded files, full document text, quantities, prices or totals.
Information the service stores
- Account and plan information needed to authenticate users and track allowances.
- Audit status, usage and resulting findings.
- Confirmed or rejected matching corrections saved as private business match memory.
- Contact details, waitlist entries or feedback only when a person submits them.
InvoiceDrift presents potential discrepancies for business review. It does not approve payments, decide contractual liability or label a supplier charge as an overcharge.
